Campbells Veterinary Surgery offers treatment and advice for companion animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, rats, reptiles and other exotic pets.
Our goal is to provide you peace of mind that your pets will be treated gently, that medical care will be provided with skill and concern, that good options will be offered and explained and that you will always be treated in a considerate and friendly manner.
We pride ourselves in offering friendly, expert treatment and advice under all circumstances, including during the most difficult decisions. We are happy to answer any of your questions, even if we have to consult other colleagues and get back to you.
Mr Frank Harper opened the practice in the 1950’s treating small animals and the occasional horse which would turn up at the front door.
Mr Robin Campbell took over the practice in 1980’s and we became known as Campbells Veterinary Surgery. Always a busy practice, and with an ever-growing clientele, we have become the state of the art surgery that we are today offering in house diagnostics, two theatres and two kennel areas so when possible, cats and prey pets can be housed separately to greatly reduce pet stress.
CVS Group plc acquired Campbells in the early 2000’s. We are proud to be part of the largest veterinary group in the UK.
Today Campbells has a large team of vets, nursing and reception staff which means your pet is in good hands during their entire stay with us.
Pets are our priority and we aim to provide the highest quality service possible, but should you ever feel we have not met that service we hope you will feel you can discuss any problem with us openly and honestly.
We look forward to welcoming you to our surgery to show you all we offer to help provide you and your pet with a lifetime of compassionate and accessible treatment.
